Mayor Greg Ballard will reach out to Indianapolis’ younger residents during the first Mayor’s Night Out for Youth.

The question-and-answer session will target youths who live on the Westside and Southwestside, said John von Arx, city public information officer.

The event will be 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at Thatcher Park Family Center, 4649 W. Vermont St.

Ballard has had Mayor’s Night Out meetings throughout Marion County to address residents’ concerns and talk about city happenings. This event will open the floor to only the younger generation to give their opinions and ask questions.
