A man was shot to death about 3 p.m. today in a Near Northside neighborhood days before his 22nd birthday.Police have identified the victim of today’s homicide as Jerrell L. Bullock, 21, Indianapolis.

Bullock was shot in a residential yard in the 500 block of East 31st Street. He was pronounced dead of multiple gunshot wounds about 3:25 p.m. at Methodist Hospital, said Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Matt Mount.

Witnesses said an argument preceded the shooting, according to Mount.They were still seeking clues as to the identity of the shooter, Mount said.If anyone has any information regarding the suspect or anybody seen with him, police ask that they contact IMPD Homicide at 327-3475, or call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
