An Indianapolis man was the victim of an apparent homicide on the Eastside last night.

Jonathan E. Brewster, 24, was found about 8:40 p.m. Saturday night in the 2100 block of Sussex Lane, near 21st Street and Post Road.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police responding to a shots fired call in the Nottingham Village Apartment complex, found Brewster’s body face down near the rear entrance of one of the apartment buildings, according to a news release from IMPD Sgt. Matthew Mount.

Brewster suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Mount said an argument may have led to the shooting.
