Marion County authorities say a man has admitted to playing a part in a triple-homicide last month at an Eastside apartment.

According to Marion County court records filed Friday, Jordan Phillips told police that he and another, unidentified man were planning a robbery when three people were slain on June 4 at the Cedar Ridge Apartments near 38th Street and German Church Road.

The probable cause affidavit filed by the Marion County prosecutor’s office states that Phillips admitted helping to bind the victims with duct tape and cable ties but said he left the other man in the room with the victims.Jerromey Wingfield, 23, Shawnice Dunlap, 21, and Devon Bledsoe, 20, were found shot to death in the apartment on June 6.Phillips, according to the records, told police they stole about $1,500 and an unspecified amount of marijuana from the apartment.Phillips, 20, was held without bond Friday in the Marion County Jail on initial charges of murder and robbery. He also faces cocaine dealing and other charges not related to the killings, records show. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
