The Lutheran High School volleyball team will host a Dig Pink Night on Wednesday to raise money for breast cancer research as part of its match against Franklin Central.

The Saints will wear pink uniforms and the visiting Flashes will wear pink shoelaces. T-shirts will be sold and donations will be accepted. Local breast cancer survivors and those battling the disease will be honored between the reserve and varsity match, which is expected to be at about 6:30.

Lutheran officials hope to raise $1,000 at the event. For information, go to Lutheran’s website at lhsi.org.
