Lost! Only a few weeks away!
I’m potentially the biggest Lost-obsessed human ever.
…so much so that I’ve been counting down the days until the Season 5 premiere of the show airs on Jan. 21 (the day after the inauguration, eep!!)
…and I’ve also been thinking about getting a Lost-ish tattoo. Dharma symbol? Oceanic logo? “Not Penny’s Boat” scrawled on my hand?
I was left going “…huh?” after the season finale that seems like waaaay too long ago, and I need to know where the island went. You can’t just misplace somethin’ that big, y’know?
Any other fanatics out there? Can we start a Lost group called “The Others” so we can nerd out together?

Sorry, I gave up on the show. They just took too long to move the story and I got bored.
Yeah, the finale was weird – but you have to expect that from the show – which is why it’s so great. You starting the group, Amy?
You think ‘Lost’ fans have it bad. It’s been nearly two years since the last we saw of ‘24.’ (November’s TV movie doesn’t count, as it abandoned the whole real-time element.)

I haven’t read any discussions about why the DHARMA logo has a snake in the center of the logo. Thoughts, Qs, Comments?
Last week, I met Lost fans who aren’t into theories. Weird.

Which Dharma logo?
The closest thing to a snake I’m aware of is the Swan station logo.

Uh…Nina? You call yourself a Lost fan? There are different Dharma logos for each station. Wow. I’m just…embarrassed for you.
Can anyone explain Kelvin? He is the dude that was in the hatch with Desmond. He was also in Desert Storm with Syid around 1991-1993. So how did he go from being in desert storm to being in the hatch in the early 00’s? He is supposed to be Dharma, but was he there before the purge? Did the others just not kill him? He really throws the whole series off for me.
I think it’s the H-bomb that is buried in the hatch.

Kelvin’s going to be an interesting character in the future, I think. I’m assuming we’ll find something more about him soon?
I had NO idea he and Sayid fought together. I need to go back and rewatch all the episodes at some point, I think.

They didn’t fight together as much as he made Sayid torture people in the war.
Last night’s episode had some good twists. Jin’s alive! They are answering a lot more questions than they have in the past. This season is putting some pieces together while remaining entertaining.
