Remember what your parents told you about treating others the way you want to be treated? If any employees at the law firm of Riley Bennett&Egloff forgot, Managing Partner Ryan Leitch surely would remind them.

“We don’t tolerate yelling at people or disrespecting others,” he said. “People are treated well here.”

Founded in 1979, Riley Bennett&Egloff is a general practice firm that serves corporate and individual clients.

The firm has stayed away from mergers. Instead, growth has come by adding clients and expanding relationships with existing clients.

That has led to a corporate culture that’s stable and consistent.

Employees are aware, Leitch said, that the firm is doing well.

It tends to hire recent graduates and interns. Training takes a hands-on approach, with feedback week by week and project by project.

“It’s not all about what the partners are doing,” Leitch said. “It’s what the staff is doing to make this a great place to work.”
