Sorry I have been so out of it the past few months - it's been crazy. So I just found out that I am going to Las Vegas in November. I am very excited. We are staying at the Palms Resort. But I am only staying a few days. So I was wondering if any one had any suggestions as to what was a MUST to do while I am there?

I am just so happy to be going.

Four words: Star Trek: The Experience (in the Hilton)

Well, if you're into that sort of thing. I am. Got a picture of me and my son on the bridge of the Enterprise D. I'm sitting in what I'm told is one of the real captain's chairs used in the show, and my son sat in the First Officer's chair.

Also got one of me and my son in a Borg alcove that was really used during filming of "Star Trek: First Contact." My little boy, who was not quite 2 at the time, walked back by himself and stood in it and the dude took a picture of him by himself, and they gave it to me for free.

Though I paid I think $25 for the "Tour" and pictures, so I'm not sure who got the better end of it.

Anyway, there's no shortage of fun things to do. I had a toddler at the time so my wife and I were limited somewhat. But it was still really fun.

awesome one of the guys I am going with would LOVE that I will have to suggest it to him. I am sure we are going to have fun but it seems like a lot to do in just 3 days.

The show at the Excalibur is really cool. It's like kind of like Midevil Times where they do jousting, and other tricks on horses, it's really cool.

OK, it's crazy expensive, but Cirque du Soleil is amazing ... any of their shows, but especially "O" which is their water one. For free stuff, the Excalibur show, have to see the fountains of the Bellagio, the indoor plaza and canals of the Venetian, and the lions at the MGM Grand. Bring comfy walking shoes!
