Labor Day holiday closings

Some services will be curtailed today in observance of Labor Day.

Federal offices: Closed.

State offices: Closed.

City offices: Closed.

County offices: Closed.

Courts: Closed.

Mail delivery: No home delivery or retail window service.

License branches: Closed.

Schools: Closed.

IndyGo: Buses will follow their Sunday schedule.

Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library: All branches will be closed, except for the InfoZone, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Banks: Most closed. Check your branch.

Stock markets: Closed.

The Indianapolis Star: Business and advertising offices will be closed. The circulation office will take calls from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at (317) 444-4444.

Trash pickup:

Indianapolis: No trash pickup. Service will run one day late for the rest of the week.

Beech Grove: Regular trash pickup.

Lawrence: No pickup. Monday routes will be run Tuesday, with regular service the rest of the week.

Speedway: Normal pickup. No yard waste will be collected.
