Labor Day
Does anyone agree with me out there that schools should not start until AFTER Labor Day weekend?! It just feels like that is the "official" end of summer. Although we are not having the oppressive heat/humidity Indiana is known for right now it usually is AWFUL and many schools still lack A/C! Now that the ISTEPs will be given in Spring is there really any reason to start this early? How about starting a petition?!
I'd have to agree with you. Didn't it used to be that way, & slowly but surely they keep creeping the start date back. Can I get a 12" with sausage & pepperoni? Thank you so much for your prescence & contribution to the Irvington community, it is much appreciated!

It seems like we used to start after Labor Day and get out in mid May. Glad I'm not in school now. Although some things seem cooler than when I was.
