JOHN VANDERSLICE SUNDAY BRUNCH/EASTER EGG HUNT! SUNDAY, MARCH 23 @ 1:30PM / LUNA music MIDTOWN/BROAD RIPPLE (52nd & College) Spend the evening with Mr. Vanderslice and Mr. Malkmus at the Vogue on the 22nd, then come by the day after for some sugar and songs. John will be playing a special brunch-time acoustic set (and ample songs from 'Emerald City') at the 52, and the LUNA crew will be serving up some glazed, yeasty goodness from the Do Nut shop (paging Mr. Sholley--sugar run!). And in case you didn't know--John Vanderslice is one of the nicest people around, and works with a variety of musicians and studio wizards! Right on...

What a fun idea - I love it! Is the "Do Nut shop" you refer to the one on North Keystone? Given their magical donut stylings, I certainly hope so. Vanderslice deserves the best.

He opened for the Jicks last night and was really great. I'm interested to hear him in a smaller setting.
