It's SNOWING!!!!!!
The first snow of the season is officially here!
When I was younger, it was always a race between my brothers, sister and I to see who could get outside the quickest, and be the first to make "mystery tracks" in the yard after the first snow. I even scooted out early thismorning before loading the kids in the car to make swooping tracks and backtracks just outside my back door.
Ante Up...
What are everyone else's favorite first snow/snow-time activities?

Drinking as much as humanly possible the night before a snow storm, so my bladder will be full enough upon awaking to pee my entire name in the snow (and for those that REALLY know me, this is actually quite a feat).

I like to leave "mystery tracks" across friends' yards and around to the bedroom window so they think they have a peeping tom.
"Mystery Tracks" reminds me of something else. Anybody remember the weird phenomenon we had a few years ago called "snow rollers"? Apparently, what happens is the temperature gets cold enough to form a crust on top of the snow. A chunk will break off and the wind will pick it up and start rolling it end-over-end until it makes these giant swiss cake roll looking things. Temperature and wind conditions have to be just right. I woke up and saw these mystery tracks all over the lake and thought "Man, somebody went to a LOT of trouble to roll up all those snowballs." Later, I realized they were all over town and concluded that it was an extraterrestrial act akin to crop circles.
Boo! Snow sucks! My favorite snow-time activity is snuggling up under the blankets until it all melts away.
