It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia...2008
I recently saw a commercial on FX for another season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia coming this fall...stellar news! If your not watching this show, your kinda missing out on life.
Hopefully you already know of it's greatness and I'm preaching to the choir. But if not, it's seriously, one of the funniest shows to come out in a long time. If you can afford the 15-25 bucks, pick up the first two seasons on DVD. No subtle or dark humor here...just straight comedy...you can get away with a lot of FX apparently.
Can't wait to see what the characters get into in 2008.
Would you say it's as good as Arrested Development?
Because to me, that is the probably the funniest show in the past 10 years
To be honest, I never really got into A.D. so I can't comment too much. I watched it a few times, but I never learned the characters so it didn't seem super funny to me. And it was also hyped up a bunch, so I may have expected a lot (I may have just done the same thing here). I need to go back and invest some time into that show, I hear good things about it...is it on DVD?
But if you take time to learn the characters, I believe Always Sunny is as funny or funnier than The Office, Seinfield and Scrubs. It did take me about 3 episodes to get into Always Sunny, but once I did...no show, I've seen, really compares.
