haha, man.. that's all people do in carmel is shop and eat food.

There is an old Tavern on Main st in the "art & design district."

If you're actually looking for some thing REAL to do, you might want to consider the lovely city of Indianapolis. Downtown or Broad Ripple always have something going on.

Or there's a little game I like to play called getting tanked at Mickeys (131st-ish & Meridian) and seeing how far I can get before getting a DUI for any of the following reasons..

1. Driving under the speed limit (it looks suspicious to Carmel P.D.)

2. Driving the speed limit (it also looks suspicious to Carmel P.D.)

3. Speeding.

Other than that, just suck up the $50.00 cab fare and c'mon downtown.

It's not worth a whole night of partying, but if you've never been to Woody's beneath The Old Library (now a restaurant) you should give it a go. I lived in Carmel for years before I even realized it was there - it's what I imagine when I hear "watering hole." It's a great neighborhood bar.

My suggestion would be to move out of Carmel. :)

i don't need to move rather find a girl, get married, buy an SUV, have 2.3 kids, get a dog and cut off my ba**s.

will definitely check out Woody's and Mickey's though.

Bub's on the monon trail is pretty choice--- google "bub's burgers" and oogle the menu. They have a newer breakfast place nearby that's also quality.

Fun - when the weather is warmer - to get a seat outside and watch the folks pass on the monon.

Not far from Bub's... there's a great butcher in that "old district" - get some tasty goods and get the good times going at your place!

I've been to Woody's. It was crowded and kind of lame. Drinks are priced right though!
