so drinky and i were killing some posting time away from indy.com this weekend while the site was down(but still up?) and he came up with the idea of Karma Compensation.

i had a lot to say this weekend, but then i forgot it all while trying to log in to add photos, REPEATEDLY.

can i be compensated for my loss with karma? or will it all 'even out' in the end times?

No friggin' doubt. I had an awesome review of the first season of Dawson's Creek all ready to roll, but it's gone now. GONE!

Sorry guys, we had a technical glitch over the weekend (basically, we weren't able to keep anybody logged in).

We're patched up now, but without being able to read the minds of everyone that attempted to post over the weekend, we can't add invisible points at this time.

That said, it didn't put anyone at a competitive disadvantage (nobody could stay logged in, so it wasn't just you), so, yeah, it'll all 'even out' in the end times.

thanks a ton chris. but really, we were at a disadvantage; this was the weekend that wouldve proved a defining moment in Indy.com's young history...... squandered.

and yea: im being logged in as other people today - i ALMOST got access to Randydaytona's profile information... youre lucky im a nice guy, Randy.

Yeah, we're looking into that, too.

Right now, the thought is that it's probably related to the same issues that were keeping folks from logging in all weekend.

I think you should rewrite the entire website in ASP.NET

i am pretty sure Anglefire would host the site for free. more ads? no problem!

keep it up Chris, youre almost there!

I think I can speak for all of our developers when I say:

"OH HELL NO"

... but thanks for the suggestion.

The outage forced me to go outside this past weekend. It was horrible. Please don't let it happen again.
