The Indy Hostel is a unique venue. It's an affordable place to crash for out-of-towners as well as a gallery and space for live musical performances. Adventure photographer Michelle Craig is exhibiting a selection of her photography. Craig is a native Hoosier who has traveled extensively with her camera and a backpack. She focuses her camera on landscapes, environmental portraits, close-ups of flora and fauna, and adventure sports action. On May 3rd, there's a musical performance by Cliff Snyder with Cara Jean Wahlers and Gary Wasson. A poetry reading is scheduled for May 11th at 7pm with well-known poets Fran Quinn and Mary Fell. The reading is presented by the Oatmeal Eaters poetry group, a fun gang of poetry lovers I met during the recent On Procession art parade in Fountain Square. For more info www.indyhostel.us
