The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a man wanted in connection with a rape of a 15-year-old girl this afternoon on the Eastside.

Police said they are searching for a Hispanic man 5’6” tall and weighing 170 pounds, from 25-30 years old.

Officers described that man as having a scar under his right eye, medium build, short brown hair and a light goatee, wearing a black hoodie and black jogging pants.

The man reportedly used a small silver snub-nosed revolver to force the girl into a house in the 5300 block of Butler Terrace around 3 p.m., assaulting the girl when she arrived at the house.Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 262-8477.
