Illness postpones Pretenders show at Murat

The Pretenders will not perform tonight at the Murat Theatre in Downtown Indianapolis because of an undisclosed illness, according to concert promoter Live Nation.

A makeup date is expected, and all tickets will be honored at that performance, according to a release.

Led by vocalist-guitarist Chrissie Hynde, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band is on tour to promote 2008 album “Break Up the Concrete.”
