I am wearing a white shirt that's shot through with silver strands (hook and eye closure); my stovepipe trousers that look kind of like Momus' pants; my high-heeled suede boots, and a hot-pink scarf with gold highlights.

I'm wearing a black T-shirt supporting Paper Route, one of my favorite undiscovered bands of the moment. My L.A. Denim jeans fit like a glove, are faded perfectly, have interesting details such as designs on the pockets and crooked belt loops, and get lots of compliments and inquiries. My shoes are classic sneakers by Penguin. They look like they used to be green but have subsequently been painted white, and the white paint has started to crack, letting the green show thru. They look so old that I had to tell my mother that I bought them this way so she wouldn't buy me new shoes. And finally, my black corduroy Triple 5 Soul destroyed blazer that I went to visit 4 times before breaking down and buying it. And I like them all because like fabric softener.
