OK ... uses one forthcoming movie, but shortest I could think of:
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in "10 Things I Hate About You" with Heath Ledger.
Heath ledger appears in "The Dark Knight" with Gary Oldman.
Gary Oldman appears with Natalie Portman in "The Professional".
Could probably get there with Julia Stiles from that movie, too, but it'd take you a little longer I suspect.
