Hope Less Ness
Hope Less Ness ©2005 TonyWHOA!
We interrupt your regularly scheduled program with dire need To warn you and inform you about this serious disease It's taking out more people in the world than HIV All 4 corners of the globe and all 7 seas
It starts in your mind Causing a yellowish discoloration to your spine Symptoms are complaining, slothfulness Slurred speech, whining, and foolish pride
I bare witness I've seen it in action Making grown men cry Like infants in traction
Making him feel helpless Like there is no known cure Becoming a self made pharmacist Destroying his surroundings just to endure
I've seen mothers give up children For grandmothers to raise Thinking the antidote is in the streets But the streets are part of the plague
It knows no boundaries It's taking over at an alarming rate of speed And as usual the biggest percentage infected Are Blacks between the ages of 16 and 40
But those statistics are in err I've seen it in the young Genetics proved that it can be inherited Easily passed on
From one generation to the next Side effects are the slave mentality Follow by false courage, thugizm And a grave mentality
Those infected are desensitized to violence They don't value human existence Live in a gotta get mines state of living Oblivious to common sense
So far it's been contained To the block, the hood, and the projects And as long as it stays there There will be no vaccine for Hope-less-ness
