Harrison named as APA president
Joel Harrison, the longtime artistic director of the American Pianists Association, has taken on the additional title of president and chief executive officer. Harrison, 57, a former professor at Mississippi State University, had been serving as the APA's interim president since Helen Small retired Oct. 1.
