Hancock hospital plans H1N1 meetings in Greenfield
GREENFIELD — Hancock Regional Hospital will host two public meetings on the flu caused by the H1N1 virus.
The meetings will be 7 p.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Hancock Wellness Center, 888 W. New Road, according to a news release from Robin Brunner, a business development and marketing employee at the hospital.
Brunner said area residents can discuss preparations to protect themselves, family members and businesses for a potential H1N1 outbreak.
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels has asked communities to come together and learn about and prepare for the H1N1 flu if it should strike locally, Brunner said.
