Background:Matty is a golden retriever/collie/Great Pyrenees mix. He is friendly with people and other animals but does like chasing horses. Matty has a wonderful temperament, does not need to be crated and has lost an eye, but it does not seem to hinder him.

Background:Roscoe is believed to be a Great Pyrenees/golden retriever mix. He is fun-loving, loves romping and playing with other dogs and is friendly. Roscoe is house-trained, does not need to be crated and seems fine around adult cats but needs to be supervised with kittens. He would do best with kids 5 and older.

About Indy Great Pyrenees Rescue:The group specializes in placing homeless Great Pyrenees. Dogs are fostered in homes around Indiana to make their transition to their forever home easier; there is no shelter facility. Those wishing to adopt must complete an application, provide a vet reference or two personal references, and have a home visit and fence check. Dogs are placed as inside pets only, with above-ground fencing required. Pyrs are difficult to contain with a wireless fence.
