Looks like our friends at IGN have posted a couple of pictures related to the Friday the 13th remake, produced and directed, respectively by Michael Bay and Marcus Nispel, the team behind the sucktastic "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake a few years back. Anyway, the first teaser poster and an image that has been bouncing around the nets for awhile now are available by clicking "IGN" above.

Also, rumor has it you can spy a bootlegged version of the first footage of the film at joblo.com, which was screened at ComicCon.

My wife liked the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake more than the original. I showed her the original, and she hated it. She said the acting was bad and it wasn't as scary as the remake. I'll give her the acting but I still prefer the original. I thought the remake was kind of boring.

We had a whole conversation about it on the remakes thread. Randy Daytona also likes the remake more, much to my chagrin. I agree that the original, rough around the edges as it is, is far superior. If you go back and watch there's very little real gore in that movie compared to the remake. But it's really scary and gets the job done without buckets of blood.
