I regret to say I did not take any photos this evening. I made it over to the Ruschman gallery and thoroughly enjoyed the paintings by Nancy Morgan-Barnes. Her paintings have so much texture and depth. There are so many details that the pieces draw you in and envelope you in their stories. I love her use of insects, flowers, fruits and vegetables, not to mention the underlying messages and metaphors.

My blood sugar problems started acting up, and I ended up sitting on the floor beside the front desk for awhile. I never made it over to Dean Johnson because I couldn't stop being shaky and feeling like I was going to pass out. I had a great time though, and was rocking my lace hosiery. :)
