Fine Arts Society Classical 88.7 40th Anniv. Gala featuring "Time For Three"
Mark Your Calendars/Save the Date – FAS’s 40th Anniversary Gala 6/20!
You won’t want to miss our 2009 gala fundraiser celebrating our 40th Note the date right now – Saturday, 6/20 @ the newly refurbished Hyatt Regency @ State Capitol Indianapolis. In addition to cocktails, hor d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions, and a fabulous sit-down dinner, the acoustic trio Time For Three (tf3.com) will be our entertainment.
Making their second Indianapolis appearance this season, Time For Three (which includes ISO concertmaster Zach De Pue) has been hailed as “one of those rare gems” by Strings Magazine, and “three benevolent monsters, monsters of ability and technique” by Sir Simon Rattle. They brought the house down @ the Hilbert Circle Theatre last September with their innovative and energetic performance of music from many genres. People are still raving about the show and this will be your chance to see them again or for the first time! anniversary.
Gala sponsorships are available for between $2,500 & $10,000. Corporate or individual patron tables are $1,250 and single tickets are just $125. We have a special all-event price of $75 for those ages 21 – 34 and staff at non-[profit organizations. All proceeds will benefit the Fine Arts Society’s classical music broadcasts and Music Academy for Youth.
Founded in 1969, the independent non-profit Fine Arts Society produces and broadcasts all the classical music heard 24/7 on the University of Indianapolis’s WICR 88.7 FM/HD. The FAS MusicAcademy primarily serves underprivileged students in several southside Indianapolis elementary and middle schools with after-school in-classroom keyboard and music theory/appreciation lessons.
