Fever's full lineup in house for media day at Conseco
Indiana Fever coach Lin Dunn hardly knew how to conduct the team’s first practice Sunday. All the players were there.
“This is, like, wild,” she said today during the Fever’s media day at Conseco Fieldhouse.
In past seasons, the Fever always began training camp without those still playing in overseas leagues. This year, the WNBA delayed the start of the schedule, after most foreign seasons were done.

The Fever play their only home exhibition game May 28 against Chicago, then open the schedule June 6 at Atlanta. The home opener is June 7 against Minnesota.
The Fever began camp a year ago with fewer starters than any other team and only two women who eventually made the roster. Everyone is back this week, including all five starters: Tamika Catchings, Ebony Hoffman, Tammy Sutton-Brown, Katie Douglas and Tully Bevilaqua.
The Fever also have three key newcomers: 39-year-old center Yolanda Griffith, point guard Erica White and first-round draft pick Briann January.
“Now, we’ve gone from none to all,” Dunn said. “It’s really, really nice. Even though training camp’s been shortened, making it later and waiting for everybody is a huge plus.”
