Facebook equals Forbidden (at work)

It has recently come to my attention how much my workplace sanity has been affected by the ability to occasionally check facebook throughout the work day. Friday afternoon, post lunch, upon trying to check my page, I found that facebook and many other sites had been blocked! I panicked. It was sad really. How now would I ever be able to release my work anxieties? No Pandora!? No facebook!? I couldn’t even open a few emails because they were sent by “inappropriate” sites, like Bath and Body Works. However, I can still browse careerbuilder.com. Hmmm…
It wouldn’t be so bad if I had internet at home; now I have to take my nerdish self over to my parents’ casa to do anything. Damn. I guess there is always wireless at Lazy Daze… OY! Now I’m just rambling.
So, I’m wondering: is there anyone else out there that has recently had their usage stifled at work and is going nuts? I’m sure I can’t be the only one! How do you cope?

I access those sites on my phone…or use a proxy site, which allows you to view the sites pretty much anywhere….google proxy sites.

Poor baby. I would probably go into withdraw without my FB fix. Get it on our phone. It’s a FREE app. Then you can take it everywhere you go. =)
