In an earlier post I said I was going to invest it. But the more I think about it, I think I'll be buying new lenses/equipment for my camera...which in my mind is an investment too since I can use them to make money in the future. At least that's the justification I'm using. :)

That evil George Bush giving everyone money....I won't get it because my parents claim me as a dependent. Oh well.

Maybe I'll break down and buy a Blu-ray player...

I think most everyone thinks it's kind of foolish to be doing this because it's at best a hot-shot kind of deal-it'll give a bit of a boost in the short-term but isn't fixing the problems we have now.

Having said that, I'll gladly take the check. It can't come at a better time for us because we just bought a new house and are in dire need of new furniture.

But as a move to bail out the economy, I think it's a pretty lame idea that is just another demonstration of the (lack of) wisdom of our current administration.

I'm using it to pay my taxes. Well, a small, SMALL portion of my self-employment taxes. For one quarter.

Luxurious living, here we come! The small bit that it is changes how you use it. It won't end the hard times but it is kind of a booster shot to keep things moving a little longer. I love the lens idea StellarSwarm! Buy something to produce more income later!

Hmm...I kinda like the Blue Ray player idea, I got an HD-DVD player right now so my stuff is about to be extinct.

I might also just spend it on a trip to Vegas or a weekend visit to Chicago. Buying stuff is cool, but having an awesome weekend of memories and good times can last much longer.

Or plan C, I spend it on fixing the house up a bit.
