"Not only does this band pulse with grim fury, they maintain it with stellar musicianship." -Terrorizer
Self-reliance and musical integrity are the two principles to which DYING FETUS have always lived by. Formed in 1991, during the height of the death metal explosion, DYING FETUS have matured into one of the premiere extreme death metal/grind-core acts to emerge from the massive global metal underground. The band is recognized worldwide as a prime example of songwriting perfection, combining an innovative mix of technical virtuosity and catchy song structures to create the ultimate blend of death metal, hard core, and grind.
Symbolically representative of the greater alliance of anti-mainstream death metal /grindcore / hardcore-punk scenes, DYING FETUS stand in direct opposition to what is considered "normal" in the overwhelmingly conformist American arena. The most recent album, War of Attrition was released in March of 2007, and it has been received warmly by the band's original fanbase as it retains the vicious, dual-vocal attack and slamming grooves that have become their trademark. However, it is also perhaps the band's most politically-charged album yet: themes include attacking reality TV, the war on terrorism, racial ignorance, and the flaws in the criminal justice system. Songs include "Homicidal Retribution," "Raping the System" and "Parasites of Catastrophe." Intensity unparalleled, and musical power unrivaled, DYING FETUS are the leaders of the new generation in extreme music.
DYING FETUS will embark on a month-long tour of the States starting November 1st in support of their brand new album, War of Attrition. Joining DYING FETUS for this tour is CEPHALIC CARNAGE, SKELETONWITCH, DEMIRICOUS, and THE ABSENCE. The tour is sponsored by Metal Maniacs, Lambgoat.com, and SickDrummer.com.

CEPHALIC CARNAGE Absorbing and integrating experimentation incessantly, producing a hybrid synthesis of underground sound that bombards the listener like an immense sonic boom, CEPHALIC CARNAGE drop state of the art bombs of schizophrenic death-grind unto the ears of the unsuspecting. Blistering passages of unfathomable speed and technical proficiency seamlessly meld with swarming vocals, light-speed percussion, mesmerizing progressions and earth-shaking sub-bass plunges. CEPHALIC CARNAGE blur the lines of musical reality, challenging the listener to question preconceived notions of what constitutes extreme grindcore. Their latest studio effort, Xenosapien, was released in North America on May 29, 2007 by Relapse Records. www.myspace.com/cephaliccarnage
SKELETONWITCH SKELETONWITCH brings together the old and sacred elements of true heavy metal, melts them down, and forges them into a brand new monolith of riffage. This new beast that has been created, while completely fresh and unique, is still able to give you that 1986 feeling (whether you were already there or are just feeling it for the first time). And THE WITCH's live show is not to be missed - This is a fact known by the countless hessians, thrashers, stoners and punks alike that have bore witness to the vicious spectacle: a whirlwind of nipple-length hair, dual flying Vs, roaring Marshall stacks, and a black master of ceremonies as sick as Satan himself. www.myspace.com/skeletonwitch
DEMIRICOUS DEMIRICOUS has influences of classic bands like Slayer and Exodus, but also sprinkle in elements of death metal and punk. Their songs are intense and aggressive thrash played at maximum tempo, with a very loud in-your-face sound featuring huge rhythm guitar hooks, the occasional guitar solo, and the angrily shouted lead vocals of bassist Nate Olp. Anchoring their thunderous attack is the intense drumming of Dustin Boltjes who pummels away relentlessly demanding to be heard above all else. Certainly not to be out done, guitarists Ben Parrish and Scott Wilson reply in kind, unleashing furious riffs of their own. DEMIRICOUS's latest album, Two (Poverty), was released on Metal Blade records on Oct 16, which was followed by a sold out CD release show with Ringworm in their hometown of Indianapolis, IN. www.myspace.com/demiricous
THE ABSENCE Tampa, FL area natives, THE ABSENCE, laid waste to an unsuspecting metal community with their debut Metal Blade album, From You Grave. After nearly two years of touring, the guys hit Mana Studios of Florida in February & March 2007 with Swedish producer Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry, Carnal Forge) to begin recording. THE ABSENCE's sophomore album, Riders of the Plague, is full of the band's brand of high flying guitar histrionics and melodies fans and critics alike have grown to love. Jamie Stewart's vocals are more aggressive and punctuated than ever before and Jeramie Kling's drumming is the perfect, tight backbone needed to hold together the band's speedy melodic onslaught. www.myspace.com/theabsence
