As far as Tony Dungy is concerned, it’s two down and a lot more to go for his Indianapolis Colts.

Sunday’s 24-20 win at Pittsburgh enabled the Colts to generate their second two-game winning streak of the season. It moved their record to 5-4 and reinforced their standing in a congested AFC playoff picture.

But two in a row likely isn’t enough if Indy is to earn a seventh straight postseason berth.

“It’s hard to win two, lose one, win one, lose one and win enough games to get there and that’s how we’ve been the first half of the year,’’ Dungy said this afternoon. “You talk about starting off the second half of the year — we got our first win, but now we’ve got to put (a streak together).”

That continues Sunday when the Colts entertain Houston (3-6) in Lucas Oil Stadium. They won the first meeting in Reliant Stadium, 31-27, by rallying with 21 points in the final 5 minutes.

The Colts won in Pittsburgh for the first time in 40 years as quarterback Peyton Manning passed for 240 yards and three touchdowns and the defense intercepted Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger three times and sacked him twice.

“We’re playing a little bit better,’’ Dungy said.
