No Hoosier Guard units stationed there

Indiana National Guard reported it is not aware of any of its soldiers or airmen who are stationed or on duty at Fort Hood, Texas, site of afternoon shootings with multiple deaths.

“Our thoughts are with those soldiers and family members during this incident,” said Staff Sgt. Les Newport, an Indiana National Guard spokesman. “We will continue to watch the events closely as they unfold.”
