I disagree. I actually think we've got two very fine candidates this year. In fact, this is the first time since I've been able to vote that I'll be voting FOR someone, rather than settling for a candidate simply because I disliked the other guy even more.
I would say that we haven't gotten a campaign that matches these two candidates. I really wish they could've done those 10 town halls. I think a lot of the more petty and negative stuff that's consumed our time would have never materialized.
Though if it comes down to a tie in the Electoral College, I'm down for Nessie as a compromise candidate.
