Curtain call
Tasty puppet show
Z Puppets Rosenschnoz, award-winning family entertainers from Minneapolis, will present two shows Saturday at the IndyFringe Theatre Headquarters, 719 E. St. Clair St.
Curtain times for “A La Carte: In a Fool’s Kitchen,” which concerns a pitched battle between a chef and the lobster he is attempting to prepare to be eaten, are 1 and 3 p.m.
The troupe was founded in 1998 and performs often in the Twin Cities and in western Wisconsin. It has been compared to Laurel and Hardy, Monty Python and “Sesame Street.”

‘Rocky’ makes move

“The Rocky Horror Show” will spend the next three weeks on stage at the Athenaeum, 401 E. Michigan St.
The cult classic will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday and Oct. 30 and at midnight Oct. 31. Owner David Young said in a prepared statement that he hopes the Artists’ Studio will stage more shows at the Athenaeum in the future.
For tickets ($25, $23, $20 and $17) and reservations, call (317) 594-5070.
Spradlin’s cabaret show
“Music and Movies” is the theme of veteran local performer Tim Spradlin’s new cabaret show, which will be presented at 8 p.m. Saturday at Unity Church, 907 N. Delaware St. (An accident that caused minor damage to the building won’t affect the production.)
The show will include music from “Love Story,” “Nine to Five,” “Fame,” “Singin’ in the Rain” and other famous feature films. Claire Cassidy, a 12-year-old singer and actress, will also be featured. Jeff Kunkel will serve as the pianist and music director.
Tickets are $12, which includes dessert, to be served at 7:15 p.m. For more information, call (317) 329-3537 or visit www.timspradlinmusic.com.
