•A number of shows hit season or series finales this weekend, starting tonight with Sci Fi's well-regarded Battlestar Galactica (9 ET/PT). The show was probably too dark and complicated for mass consumption, but it was true to itself and its universe, and the very qualities that turned away most viewers helped it win a wildly devoted cult. So my condolences to those who will miss Battlestar, and here's hoping you find an acceptable substitute soon.

•The finale parade picks up at HBO Sunday with the third-season closer of Big Love (9 ET/PT). That's followed by the season wrap-up of Flight of the Conchords (10 ET/PT) and, one hopes and assumes, the series ender for Eastbound Down (10:30 ET/PT) — a show that never should have started in the first place.

•Slowly he turned, step by step. Which is what will happen if Dave (Neal McDonough) figures out Edie has figured him out on Desperate Housewives (ABC, Sunday, 9 ET/PT).

•On Brothers Sisters (ABC, Sunday, 10 ET/PT), ex-Walker daughter Rebecca is now being asked to choose between old former stepbrother Justin and new former stepbrother Ryan. Oh, happy day.
