•HBO brings Will Ferrell's Broadway show into subscribers' homes with the Saturday special Will Ferrell: You're Welcome America, A Final Night With George W. Bush (9 ET/PT). Before you welcome the show in, you should be warned that our theater critic found it "witless" and "pointless."

•The Simpsons (Fox, Sunday, 8 ET/PT) takes on The Da Vinci Code, as Lisa's search for her abducted baby sister puts her on the trail of Springfield's greatest secret. Standing in her way? Mr. Burns, of course.

•Edie is digging deeper into Dave's past on Desperate Housewives (ABC, Sunday, 9 ET/PT), which makes it all the more likely that she's also inadvertently digging something else for herself. The show also picks up another great guest: Swoosie Kurtz, who plays a teacher who takes Susan's friendliness for more than it is.
