•Here's great guest news with a British twist. Stephen Fry, best known to comedy fans for his partnership with Hugh Laurie, returns to Bones (Fox, tonight, 8 ET/PT) as Booth's former therapist. This time, he's offering advice to Sweets, who is planning a book on Booth and Bones. Maybe when he's finished, he can pay a visit to Dr. House — which would be good for House and great fun for us.

•My Name Is Earl (NBC, 8 ET/PT) is back, with Randy turning to Earl to stop Joy's bullying. Which you know means Earl is about to make matters at least temporarily worse.

•In a change of pace, CSI (CBS, 9 ET/PT) turns its attention to Wendy and Hodges, who run into each other at a sci-fi convention. Soon enough, they run into a murder and a doctor, played by Battlestar Galactica's Kate Vernon (who probably knows a thing or two about sci-fi conventions). Let's hope the hour is more entertaining than the last diversion from the norm, the William Friedkin-directed 200th episode, which changed the pace so much that most of what people like about CSI was no longer recognizable.

•With Liz suspended from 30 Rock (NBC, 9:30 ET/PT), there's no one to interfere with Jenna and Jack's latest scheme: drumming up buzz for Jenna's proposed Janis Joplin biopic.
