Covered top at the Rathskeller
Gorgeous night on Friday = trip to the Rathskeller’s Biergarten, of course.
But when I walked into the back, I was pretty shocked to see a sturdy-looking overhang above most of the picnic tables.
Not gonna lie, but this sorta defeats the purpose of the Biergarten, if you ask me. It made everything under it waaay darker than normal…and I really hope it’s not permanent.
At any rate, we chose one of the few tables that wasn’t covered by the canopy.
Any Rathskeller regulars who are upset by this, too?
I haven’t been yet since the warmer weather but that’s no good – no good at all.
Maybe it’s for sound ordinance and they can stay open later than 1am on weekends.
