Some information about Corey Cox….Corey a fast rising star on the Country Western Scene…singing his own style of Contemporary Country Western songs and Country Western Cover Music.

Corey got his first guitar when he was fifteen years old. From that point, his music career quickly shifted into gear. Within two years, he played his first acoustic concert in a small town corner bar in Markleville, Indiana. Within four years, he formed his first band and started playing in local bars.

In mid September of 2008, Corey got an opportunity that not many young musicians get. He and his band got the chance to open up for Diamond Rio. Corey stated, “It was especially great for me because I grew up listening to Diamond Rio. The thought of getting to play on stage before them was unbelievable.” From then on, many doors began to open up. One of those doors was getting to co-write and record with Dane Clark (drummer for John Mellencamp). Dane also produced Corey’s latest five songs, which are featured on his New CD. Along with Dane, other members of the John Mellencamp band were called upon to play on the tracks. After the recording was finished at Mike Petrow’s studio in Indianapolis, Indiana, Corey, his family, and Dane traveled to Nashville to get the tracks master mixed by producer Ray Kennedy.
