The Colts will clinch a wild-card playoff berth Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium with a victory over the winless Detroit Lions, plus a little help.To extend their postseason appearance streak to a league-best seven straight, the Colts (9-4) must drop the Lions to 0-14 and have:>> New England lose at Oakland and the New Jets lose or tie at home against Buffalo;>> the Patriots lose and Miami lose or tie at home against San Francisco;>> Miami and the Jets both lose. The Colts still could finish 10-6 with closing losses at Jacksonville and at home to Tennessee, but would have a tiebreaker edge over any team that also would post a 10-6 record.
