Tom Moore and Howard Mudd have returned to the Indianapolis Colts as consultants, according to Larry Kennan, the executive director of the NFL Coaches Association.

There has been no announcement from the team, but the return of the two long-time assistants has been expected since they retired in May because of concerns with the NFL’s pension program.

Kennan, a close friend of Mudd’s, said Mudd and Moore are back with the team but couldn’t address the specific roles each has assumed.
