AVON — Kingsway Christian Church will put on a free production of the radio version of “It’s a Wonderful Life” today, Saturday and Sunday. The audiences for the show will be like live studio audiences that used to sit for radio shows in the 1940s, said Lisa Lewis, Kingsway worship associate and one of the show’s directors.“We want it to be a good family night of fun,” Lewis said. “We also open our doors so people can find out a little about who we are.”he show includes the play production as well as live jazz music. Audience members will also enjoy commercials that would’ve been heard on the radio.Make sure to pay attention to the sound effects artists who bring imagination to life by making it sound like people are walking through the snow, shutting car doors or a fire is crackling.Free tickets are available on Kingsway’s Web site, www.kingswaychurch.org/christmas or by calling (317) 272-2222. Show times are 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Kingsway is located at 7981 E. County Road 100 N., Avon.
