Andrew Rosborough - "The Perpetual Sounds of Motion"
Self-released
Songwriter / pop

Andrew Rosborough has studied music for years, and it shows on this disc, Rosborough's second self-released EP.

The songs are well-crafted and polished, and would appeal to fans of radio-friendly, songwriter-based pop. The solo artist hired a team of musicians to fill out the sound of the CD, which was professionally engineered and produced.

His lyrics are heartfelt and draw inspiration from his own life, including the song "Tennessee," referring to Rosborough's time spent exploring the music industry in Nashville.

The only place where the disc lacks is in a sometimes over-stylized production and vocal quality. Sometimes it's hard to see the beauty of the wood if it's covered in a flashy paint job.

Andrew Rosborough will play at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at The Bean Cup Coffee Shop, 8908 S. St. Peter St. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.andrewrosborough.com.
