Butler's opener on TV
WHMB-40 will televise Butler’s Nov. 14 basketball opener against Davidson.
ESPN’s Jim Barbar will be the play-by-play announcer. Sports talk show host Dan Dakich will provide commentary. The agreement follows last week’s announcement that WNDY-23 will televise 13 Butler games. Butler also has at least eight scheduled appearances on one of the ESPN networks.
A Blue/White scrimmage for the men’s and women’s teams, open to the public, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The event is free.
