Bulldogs ready for 2nd tuneup
No. 11 Butler will play its final basketball exhibition at 2 p.m. today against Taylor at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs open the season at home a week from today against Davidson (2 p.m., WHMB-40).
Taylor is an NAIA Division II university from Upland, Ind. The Trojans are coached by Paul Patterson, who has a 668-318 record in his 31st season.
Taylor lost an Oct. 30 exhibition at Ohio University 76-40.
Butler today will unveil a new scorer’s table featuring a video board with ads, pictures, graphics and messages.
