HOUSTON — Bruce Neal Metsker, 51, Houston, and formerly Noblesville, died Jan. 15, 2009, in Houston.

Mr. Metsker was employed in the litigation support industry for many years for various companies, most recently Equivalent Data.

He was born Aug. 16, 1957, in Noblesville, the son of Fred and Betty Metsker.

He was a 1975 graduate of Noblesville High School and attended Ball State University. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Houston.

Mr. Metsker was active in softball leagues in Houston for 20 years as a player, board member and fundraiser. He also enjoyed traveling, working on his home, and spending time with friends.

He is survived by a brother, Mike Metsker, Noblesville; and two sisters, Peggy Eppen, Greenwood, Ind., and Karen Roever, Plainfield, Ind.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Wesselman.

A Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 12 in the chapel at Crownland Cemetery.
