BROWNSBURG — A Brownsburg sixth-grader will perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City next month.

Rowan O’Conner Squire-Willey, 11, won her level at the World Piano Competition in Cincinnati this summer to earn the honor.

Winners will play Oct. 10 at the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie.

Rowan will play the same song she played in the finals of the competition, “The Song of Twilight” by Nakada. Rowan is a student at Brownsburg East Middle School.
