So I went to Brothers' in Broad Ripple this weekend as it opened, and the scene was pretty nice. Spacious, Nice Crowd, good music... But the service is TERRIBLE!!! We ate there Friday, and the server had NO IDEA who had what! To make it better, he divided all of the food, beer, etc into FOURTHS, even though one of us didn't eat!!! (1/4 burger, 1/4 chicken sandwich, 1/4 pitcher of beer, and 1/4 appetizer, etc...) He stated that he had never served before, but we were pretty sure this was the mood for the ENTIRE staff. We figured it was just because it was opening night, and we moved on to the bar. Toward the end of the night, the bartender then gave me an ENORMOUS tab, after I had only ordered two pitchers. When I asked him about it, he said there must have been 2 people w/ the same last name, and then snatched the receipt out of my hand, and threw it across the bar. He then told me that he had never bartended before.

All in all, the place is pretty neat, but if you want it done right, order from the bar, speak loud and clear, and pay cash!
