Brainchild is a band that combines the feeling of jazz & soul with the intensity of shredding guitar solos. Their growing list of original songs combined with a diverse selection of covers are a perfect blend of many styles of music. The best way to describe the sound is Brainchild. They are an up and coming band that's out to melt your face. Recently they have been traveling the mid-west rocking out with bands like Oteil and the Peacemakers, 56 Hope Rd., Family Groove Co. and Jobu. Playing regularly in Chicago and Indianapolis. A recent highlight was having special guest Kris Myers from Umphrey's McGee sit in at the Kinetic Playground after show during their New Years run. Brainchild attended their fourth straight SummerCamp music festival this year and it was the best one yet! ABOUT THE DIGGITY The Diggity is a 5, and sometimes 6 or 7 piece Progressive Funk/Rock Jam Band, carrying a sound like no one else on earth. The Diggity will captivate your mind with their creative song writing, unique instrumentals, and their mind altering twisted creation of funk, born in late 2001, The Diggity started out as an alternative rock band. A year later they made the transition to jam friendly music pulling influences from bands such as (but not limited to) Widespread Panic, Umphreys McGee, Phish, Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers Band, LLAMA, and The New Mastersounds. In 2006, the band decided to light it up, and move from just playing local coffee shops, to playing all over Indiana, and in late 2006 the band took on the challenge of recording an album, which was released in April 2007, "Out of The Woodwork"[/size]
